Questions about learning or teaching Danish, a North Germanic language spoken mainly in Denmark.

The Danish language is a North Germanic language spoken primarily in Denmark, Iceland, and Greenland. Since their roots are so similar, the Swedish and Norwegian languages are mutually intelligible to a great extent with Danish. Despite being one of the most difficult Scandinavian languages for English speakers to learn, it maintains a Category I (easiest) difficulty ranking according to the Foreign Service Institute (FSI).
